Kitchy and Fun best describes Chez Shack.  Good, all you can eat BBQ served buffet style with a Steel Band playing in the background - it's what the Caribbean is all about.  This is the place to be on Steel Band Night (Monday night) -  a great party!   Locals and tourists alike flock to the dance floor for classic Island music played (very well) by a steel band brought in from the main Island - Great fun!
     Chez Shack is aspiring to "hole in the wall" status in a very happy way - nothing fancy here (they are not even taking fancy into consideration) just a wonderful time with nice people.
     No view, but who cares - it's as out of the way as you can get on the tiny Island of Vieques.  It's easy to find and nothing in Vieques is ever more than a few minutes away.
